PDP Review 2

PDP Review 2. 


What goals or targets I've have achieved so far.

  • Deliver presentation successfully.
  • Develop my hand writing.
  • Finish the principle of effective communication leaflet.
What worked well for me.
I was really pleased with the way that I delivered my presentation in front of my class because I was the first one to do it; which has given me a real confidence boost. Also, working on the leaflet was quite tricky but, I got there eventually and I am proud of the fact that I did not give up. The improvement of my handwriting has been improving slowly and steadily.


What worked less well.
When I started to work on my leaflet I didn’t really understand the concept of it and it confused me a little. Also I think that my concentration was mostly focused on my exam revision, which stopped me from doing my CESIT work. Finally, even though my presentation went well I still made some mistakes such as spelling mistakes on the power point slides and not physically moving in the right direction when delivering the presentation.


What I will do differently next time?
Firstly in the future I need to adapt a general attribute of reviewing my work before handing it in or presenting it in front of a group. Secondly to improve on my presentational and interpersonal skills I need to rehears a few times before delivering my presentation to an audience. Last but not least, in the future in need to remember when I am creating a PDP I need to think about my goals/ targets very carefully or maybe show a drafted version to someone to get their opinion on it.     


What I'am going to do next?
Next I am planning to gather evidence for the M2 and P4. Also I am going to make a start on the dummies guide.

  1. These are good, thorough, reviews which begin to approach D2 - "review progress on a PDP, identifying areas for improvement.

    To achieve D2 you need to add more detail to the "What you'd do differently" section (which should be called "What I'D do differently"...). Add content not just about what skills or attributes you'd develop or what tasks you'd focus on but also how you'd draw up a PDP and put it into action.

    The dates you've given to your reviews appear to be the wrong way round. Review 1 should be the earlier one, no?
